Gain Efficiency with Streamlined Containerization

Gain efficiency with our containerization expertise. Utilizing Docker and industry standards, we containerize your applications for consistent, scalable deployment. Whether migrating to the cloud or adopting microservices, our solutions pave the way for resilient architectures.

OUTCOMES

What this work is measured on.

The outcomes engagements in this practice aim at, and how we track them.

Environment parity
One image everywhere

The same container image runs in development, staging, and production, so environment drift is designed out rather than debugged.

Deployment time
Baselined before migration

We time your current release process before containerizing, then track the same measure after, so the gain is measured on your pipeline.

Resource utilization
Tracked per workload

Containers share the host kernel, which is where the density gains come from, and we track utilization per workload before and after so they show up on your bill.

Scaling behavior
Load-tested before cutover

Orchestrated services are load-tested against realistic traffic before go-live, so scaling limits are known numbers, not surprises.

FAQ // QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions.

Direct answers about scope, timelines, and how delivery works.

What are the main benefits of containerization?

Containerization provides application portability, environment consistency, resource efficiency, faster deployments, easier scaling, simplified maintenance, and improved development-production parity. Containers ensure applications run consistently across different environments while optimizing resource utilization.

How does Docker differ from traditional virtualization?

Docker containers share the host OS kernel, making them more lightweight and efficient than traditional VMs. Containers start faster, use fewer resources, and provide better density. VMs virtualize entire operating systems, while containers virtualize only the application layer.

What is Kubernetes and why is it important?

Kubernetes is a container orchestration platform that automates deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications. It provides service discovery, load balancing, storage orchestration, automated rollouts, self-healing capabilities, and configuration management for production-ready container environments.

How do you ensure container security?

We implement container security through image scanning, vulnerability assessment, runtime protection, access controls, network segmentation, secrets management, and compliance monitoring. Security is built into the entire container lifecycle from build to runtime.

How long does a containerization project take?

Weeks to months depending on scope. The drivers are the number of applications, how much refactoring each needs to run well in a container, and whether Kubernetes orchestration is part of the work. We containerize in slices and ship as we go rather than promising a single big-bang date.

What do you need from us to start a containerization project?

Access to the application source and its build process, time with someone who knows how the application really behaves in production, and a cloud or cluster environment we can deploy into under your accounts. We handle the Docker and Kubernetes work; we need your knowledge of the application's quirks.

Who owns the container images, pipelines, and Kubernetes configuration afterwards?

You do. Dockerfiles, pipeline definitions, Kubernetes manifests, and infrastructure code are committed as source into your repositories, and images live in a registry under your account. Nothing about our containerization services leaves you tied to us to rebuild or redeploy.

How do you measure whether containerization actually paid off?

We baseline before migration: deployment time, resource utilization, and infrastructure cost for the workloads in scope. After cutover we track the same numbers, so the case for containerization is settled by your pipeline and your bill, not by our slides.

Can you run our container platform after the migration?

Yes. Our managed DevOps service covers cluster operations, upgrades, monitoring, scaling, and incident response as a retainer. Plenty of teams take the handover, runbooks, and training and operate Kubernetes themselves; the migration is built for that handover either way.

How is containerization work priced?

We scope a proposal after an engineering call that covers your applications and target platform. Migration work is usually fixed-scope per application group, while ongoing platform operations run as a retainer. We avoid quoting amounts before scoping because container estates vary too much for an honest flat number.
